A Play, A Pie & A Pint
Poster Design – Illustration and Graphic Design
The theme of the Autumn 2023 Season for A Play, A Pie & A Pint was ‘Tales of Coming Home‘.
The main elements of this company are that when attending a performance, the audience is provided with a pie and a pint. It was crucial that this element was incorporated into the design. For this reason, I focused on having the pint as the ‘home’ that the pie ship and audience are heading to – a home based on tales and stories.

In addition to the poster, the artwork was also used for multiple social media banners, posters and print media. Below are sketches and concepts presented to the company when designing the main illustration for the 2023 Autumn Season for A Play, A Pie & A Pint.

Richmond Foundation – OLLI Chat
Character Design and Illustrated Marketing
Olli is a character created as the face of Richmond Foundation’s OLLI Chat. Richmond Foundation is a Maltese NGO based on providing free mental health services to those who need them. They have recently launched Olli Chat, an online 24/7 chat system for whoever needs immediate help.
Olli is used as a means of spreading mental health awareness through marketing posts and print material like postcards and apparel in a friendly and approachable way.
In addition to the Olli designs, I have also worked on a number of social media posts surrounding the topic of mental health.

Levi’s Trucker Jack Design
Competition and Exhibition
Lino block printing, acrylic paint and bleach on denim.
Block printed design created as part of the competition organised by Levi’s Malta.
I based my design on the issue of animal extinction and utilised the jacket as a canvas for this.
Hand Painted Ply Characters
As a painter in the creative team, I created 10 goblin character designs for the festival’s ‘Goblin Trail’, which were placed around the festival site. These goblins were cut out of plywood and hand-painted using acrylic paints. Each of the goblins carries a letter, spelling out the word ‘MYTHICAL’, a puzzle that festival-goers had to solve.
I also created a ‘Head-in-a-Hole’ with a Medusa design for festival-goers to take pictures with, as well as a number of other pieces such as wooden heart shapes that were used in the festival decor.
